A Danish Mid Century Sofa by Erik Jorgensen, 1960’s

A Danish mid century sofa designed by Erik Jorgensen EJ 315 /2 for Erik Jorgensen Mobelfabrik in Denmark.
An iconic design a two seater sofa made famous all over the world and still produced today. A lovely elegant design this one is in its original  Gabriel Savak  blue stripe button-back wool upholstery resting on beech legs and frame. This example was probably produced in the mid 1970’s
We have professionally shampooed the upholstery so that it is clean and fresh, free of stains. It is in excellent condition with no damage and is a great wool material in an iconic design now discontinued by Gabriel. The beech base was removed and refinished with Danish oil to bring it back to its former glory.
A lovely looking and comfortable two seater sofa in a beautiful wool button-back fabric in excellent original condition.
