Set of Danish Teak Dining Chairs, Oak & Wool, 1950’s

A wonderful set of six teak and oak dining chairs made by a Danish cabinet maker in the 1950’s. A beautiful elegant design I love the use of two woods the oak for the main body and to contrast the teak backrest a lovely mid century Scandinavian touch. We chose a Swedish wool fabric by Svensson because its such a lovely colour and so in  keeping with a mid century colour palette.
The chairs have been thoroughly and sympathetically cleaned and restored. The oak as with the Borge Mogensen armchair we are selling has a natural soap finish applied while the teak has an oil finish to really bring out the grain. The seats were stripped back new foam applied
