A Illum Wikkelso Sofa 3 or 4 Seater for Niels Eilersen, Danish 1960’s

A magnificent Illum Wikkelso sofa in rosewood and light tan leather model ‘Capella’ for Neils Elersen in the late 1950’s early 1960’s. A really beautiful sofa with rich colour and patina to the solid rosewood frame, and original soft supple light tan leather cushions. Illum Wikkelso designed the Capella range to be a modular system so that elements can be added or subtracted to the customers needs, so this sofa would function excellently as a 2, 3, or 4 seater sofa to fit onto any space you require.
The sofa as with the armchairs and footstool I am also selling have been attentively cleaned and polished, and the leather cushions have been delicately cleaned and nourished so they are all 100% fit for purpose, and will look amazing for many years to come.
A beautiful sofa, a rare design using stunning materials that would look great in any interior.

This sofa and the armchairs I am also selling is designed as a sectional system, All the rosewood elements easily screw together and elements can easily be added or removed to make the sofa bigger or smaller. For international shipping the sofa will be send dis essembled as this wil greatly reduce the cost of shipping. All the screws needed will be included as will picrures to explain. Its very simple takes about half an hour to assemble.
If you would like to come to view any of my pieces you are more than welcome. The showroom is based in North London, 5 minutes walk from Seven Sisters tube station (Victoria Line).
