Pair of Pulkka Lounge Chairs by Ilmari Lappalainen for Asko, Finnish 1960’s
An impressive pair of Pulkka armchairs in cream leather from the 1960’s. Padded shaped seat element in leather resting on an brushed aluminium frame with leather armrests held in place by chrome clasps, adjustable for three positions.
The condition is excellent. There are no marks, scuffs or any other damage to the leather seat or aluminium seat frame. With the leather still supple and soft and colour vibrant and fresh.
A beautiful pair of chairs designed by Finnish designer Ilmari Lappalainen for the world famous furniture manufacturer Asko. A classic 1960’s design cool and elegant, juxtaposing the natural leather against the man made aluminium frame.
