Mid Century Design Armchairs & Footstool by Illum Wikkelso for Niels Eilersen, Danish 1960’s

A beautiful mid century design armchairs in rosewood and light tan leather designed by Illum Wikkelso model ‘Capella’ for Niels Eilersen, late 1950’s early 1960’s.
 A really striking pair of Capella armchairs in the most sought after wood rosewood with the additional matching footstiool a very rare set. Original leather cushions still supple and soft with no traces of wear, and rosewood frame with beautiful colour and grain. All has been throughly cleaned and polished and are in an excellent original condition.
 A very rare set of armchairs and footstool which would make an excellent addition for any mid century design collector, and very comfortable as well.
