A Mid Century Rosewood Dining Chairs by Helge Sibast, Danish 1960’s

A beautiful set of six mid century rosewood dining chairs designed by Helge Sibast for Sibast Mobler in the 1960’s.  A rare and interesting design with beautifully shaped backrests sitting on polished metal supports makes this design very unique.  Plus the rosewood used has exceptional colour and grain making this set very collectable today.
The chairs were cleaned down and the old damaged finish removed and a new application of French polish applied to make the colour and grain stand out . The seats were removed and stripped and reupholstered with a cognac-coloured aniline leather very much in keeping with the colour and style of the chairs.
A beautiful set of mid century dining chairs carefully restored to look amazing in any interior.
