Swedish Armchair Reupholstered in Blue Velvet , 1950’s

A Swedish furniture armchair in excellent original condition newly reupholstered in blue grey velvet with gros grain ribbon trimmings and buttons. A rare armchair with beautiful form and curves it was originally shown at the Önskehem’s Stockholm furniture exhibition in 1952. This model was illustrated in the exhibition catalogue and retailed by Levy Carlssons Mobelaffar.
An excellent original design beautifully reupholstered in velvet with subtle trimmings that give accent to the piece and make it stand out.
The original receipt is included dated 1954. Selling for alot of money back then, the chair is referred to as the Domus model.
