Danish Teak Dining Chairs Designed for the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, 1958
A rare set of six teak dining chairs designed by architect Wilhelm Worlert and made by Poul Jeppesens Mobelfabrik in 1958. Not many of these chairs were produced, Wilhelm Worlert designed them especially for the interior of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk Denmark a building that he also designed. Beautiful rich colour and patina to the teak offset nicely by the newly upholstered Swedish Svensson fabric.
A rare set of teak dining chairs designed for a specific project in the 1950’s. A great piece of design that are very practical and useable as well, all in an excellent original condition.
