Danish Mid Century Furniture Royal System by Poul Cadovius, 1940’s

This elegant Royal System by Poul Cadovius, designed in the late 1940s, is a stunning example of Danish mid century furniture. The system comprises two functional units: a work station with a drop-down writing bar and shelf for storage, and a display cabinet with sliding glass doors and a glass shelf for showcasing your favorite items.

The system also includes five teak shelves, all supported by sleek brass brackets, enhancing the piece’s clean lines and timeless appeal. The deep, rich color of the teak has been beautifully restored and lightly French polished to highlight its natural grain and character. A standout feature is the striking veneer cross-hatching on the larger unit, a trademark of Poul Cadovius’ design.
