Folke Ohlsson Armchairs in Oak & Wool, Swedish 1950’s

A lovely pair of Folke Ohlsson chairs in oak designed for Dux in the 1950’s. Beautiful elegant lines and curves to the oak frame which has amazing grain and colour, complemented nicely by the new kvadrat wool upholstery. A lovely pair of rare mid century chairs by a leading designer of the period Swede Folke Ohlsson.
The oak has been cleaned and oiled to really show of its natural patina. While the cushions stripped back, foam and innards replaced and cleaned and new fabric re upholstered in the original way.

All the reupholstery is undertaken by professionals with foam, webbing and  straps replaced for comfort and to be fit for purpose for years to come. The fabric used on these chairs is from a Danish company Kvadrat, and a Uk company Camira, both wool.
