Hi at Alto Stile we pride ourselves in using the finest fabrics and materials to complete a project. On this mid century rocking chair we used a cream boucle fabric from Larsen, with a high wool content it has a luxuriously soft feel which makes it very comfortable for upholstery. Also the old foam and webbing have been replaced with new to ensure comfort for years to come.
The finish on the oak is a traditional Danish soap finish. Natural soap flakes are mixed with hot water to form a thick paste which is applied several times to the wood and lightly sanded back to give a beautiful soft feel and look.
If you would like a sample of the fabric used please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will post one out, and if you would like to come and view you are more than welcome contact details are at the bottom of the page.
Thanks
Oliver
