Leather Moduline Sofa France & Son by Gjerlov-Knudsen & Lind, Danish 1960’s

A graceful two seater Moduline sofa in black leather with a teak frame designed by Gjerlov-Knudsen & lind for France & Son, Danish 1960’s. A really lovely example of an iconic furniture design by France & Son, one of the best known furniture makers in Denmark in the 1960’s. Individual leather patches sewn together held in place by buttons, like the earlier Barcelona chair resting on a solid teak frame with nice dove tail jointing. A truly standout design that makes this sofa very desirable.
A fine example this piece has been carefully cleaned and restored and in an excellent original condition.
